COMPETITIONS
WHERE WE COMPETE?

SUAS

As the world advances, aerial vehicles are becoming essential across industries like logistics, surveillance, and disaster management. The SUAS Competition fosters interest in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), inspiring students to explore innovative technologies and pursue careers in drone technologies.

AEROTHON

AEROTHON, organized by SAE India (Society of Automotive Engineers India), is a national-level competition that challenges students to design and innovate Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for solving real-world problems.

MICRO DDC

In the Micro Class category of the SAE Drone Development Challenge (DDC), students design aircraft that can carry heavy payloads and achieve substantial payload fractions while strictly adhering to the requirements of fitting the entire aircraft within a 3-cubic-foot box and having a maximum empty weight of 1.5 kg.

REGULAR DDC

The SAE Drone Development Challenge (DDC) features a Micro Class category where students design aircraft capable of carrying significant payloads and achieving high payload fractions, all while meeting a stringent requirement to fit the entire aircraft within a 3-cubic-foot box and a max. Empty weight of 1.5kg.
